<br />,ORIGINAL <br /> <br />(7-15-90) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />OCT 1 5 1990 <br />N 0.1142 ! <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH VOLUNTEER CENTER OF SAN MATEO COUNTY (R.S.V.P.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Volunteer Center of San Mateo County (R.S.V.P.) has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing volunteer placement <br /> <br />services for senior citizens in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Volunteer Center of San Mateo County, (R.S.V.P.) has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1990 and ending June 30, 1991; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br />desires to pay to Volunteer Center of San Mateo County (R.S.V.P.) the <br />sum of THREE-THOUSAND FIVE-HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($3,500.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Volunteer Center of San <br /> <br />Mateo County (R.S.V.P.), and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />
