(FAIR OAKS SENIOR CENTER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks <br />Senior Center) has been established for the principal purpose of <br /> <br />providing a multipurpose Senior Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks <br />Senior Center) has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br /> <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> <br />1990 and ending June 30, 1991; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Senior Center) the sum of FORTY-THOUSAND AND NO/I00 DOLLARS ($40,000.00); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />and agreement between the City of Redwood City and Target Education <br />and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks Senior Center) and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to approve the same: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS; <br />
