<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />(7-15-90) <br /> <br />OCT 1 5 1990 <br />RES 0 L U T ION NO. 1-1416 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CHILD CARE COORDINATING COUNCIL OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br />ON BEHALF OF THE REDWOOD CITY CHILD CARE CONSORTIUM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County <br /> <br />was established for the principal purpose of mobilizing, coordinating and <br />developing resources toward the expansion of quality child care services <br />and the Redwood City Child Care Consortium was established for the principal <br /> <br />purpose of promoting and guiding the implementation of a community wide <br />plan to provide child care services to Redwood children; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County on behalf <br />of the Redwood City Child Care Consortium has requested financial assistance <br /> <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1990 and ending June 30, 1991, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County on <br />behalf of the Redwood City Child Care Consortium the sum of NINETEEN <br />THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($19,500.00) and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Child Care Coordinating <br />Council of San Mateo County on behalf of the Redwood City Child Care <br /> <br />Consortium and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve <br /> <br />the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />
