<br />0 R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />MSR:sw:7/l4/77 ORI{\!~iAL <br />HSR:jp:lO/17/77R í\ Û¡'~ <br />:ca:ll/29/77R 1911 <br />1 7 3 1 DEC 1 Z - <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE VIII (COMMENCING AT <br />§9.80) OF CHAPTER 9 OF, AND ADDING ARTICLE VIII <br />(COMMENCING AT §9.80) TO, CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISH- <br />MENT OF PLUMBING REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS, INCLUDING <br />THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF THE "UNIFORM PLUMBING <br />CODE, 1976 EDITION," AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL <br />ASSOCIATION OF PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL OFFICIALS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Article VIII (commencing at §9.80 of Chapter 9 <br /> <br />of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />Article VIII (commencing at §9.80 is hereby <br /> <br />added to Chapter 9 of the Code of the City of Redwood City to <br /> <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />"ARTICLE VIII. <br /> <br />PLUMBING CODE <br /> <br />"Section 9.80 <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Pursuant to Section 50022.1 et sBq., <br /> <br />of the Government Code and Section 15 of the Charter of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, the 'Uniform Plumbing Code, 1976 Edition,' <br /> <br />as published by the International Association of Plumbing and <br /> <br />Mechanical Officials is hereby adopted and shall be in effect <br /> <br />within the City of Redwood City to the same extent as if set <br /> <br />out in full herein except as expressly amended by the <br /> <br />provisions of this article. <br /> <br />Appendices A, B, D, G, and H <br /> <br />thereto are specifically adopted and shall be enforceable to <br /> <br />the same extent as if contained in the body of said Code. <br /> <br />"(b) <br /> <br />In the event of any conflict between the provisions <br /> <br />of the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1976 Edition, hereinafter <br /> <br />referred to as the Plumbing Code, and the provisions of this <br /> <br />chapter, the provisions of this chapter shall apply. <br /> <br />"Section 9.81. <br /> <br />Section 20.7 of the Plumbing Code is <br /> <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1 731 <br />
