<br />'" (d) In addition to the permit fees prescribed <br />by subsections (a) and (b) above, a strong Motion <br />Instrumentation Fee shall be paid to the Building <br />Official in the amount of 50~ or .00007 (seven one <br />hundred thousandths) times the Building Permit <br />valuation, whichever is greater. In calculating <br />this fee valuation is computed to the next highest <br />$1,000.00 increment of the valuation as determined <br />by the Building Official. <br /> <br />'" (e) In addition to the fees prescribed by sub- <br />sections (a), (b) and (d) above, fees shall be paid <br />to the Building Official for the microfilming of <br />plans and records, and for Building Department <br />services relating to enforcement of State of <br />California regulations pertaining to energy conserva- <br />tion and noise insulation standards (residential <br />and non-residential as defined by State statute). <br />These fees shall be computed in accordance with the <br />following schedule: <br /> <br />"'Plans and Records Microfilming: 5% of the <br />basic permit fee (subsection (a». <br /> <br />"'Energy Conservation Standards - Residential: <br />6% of the basic permit fee (subsection (a». <br /> <br />"'Energy Conservation Standards - Non-Residential: <br />50% of the basic permit fee (subsection (a». <br /> <br />"'Noise Insulation Standards - Residential: <br />of the basic permit fee (subsection (a». <br /> <br />8% <br /> <br />'" (f) (1) Notwithstanding the requirements set forth <br />in the Building Code, Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code <br />and Electrical Code (adopted by Sections 9.40, 9.70, <br />9.80 and 9.110, respectively), regarding the obtain- <br />ing of permits, an applicant at his option, when <br />intending to construct a new building or structure <br />of a type included within the groups listed in 303(a) <br />(2) herein, may elect to apply for a single permit in <br />lieu of separate permits. The single permit shall be <br />a combination of the required Building, Mechanical, <br />Plumbing and Electrical permits. The issuance of the <br />single permit shall be dependent upon the applicant <br />complying with such requirements as are prerequisites <br />to the issuance of the separate permits encompassed <br />thereby. <br /> <br />'" (f) (2) Prior to the issuance of a single permit <br />combining the Building, Mechanical, Plumbing and <br />Electrical permits, a fee shall be paid to the Building <br />Official. Such a fee shall be the total of the fees <br />prescribed by subsections (a), (b) (d) and (e) above, <br />in addition to a fee representing the Mechanical, <br />Plumbing and Electrical permit fees computed in <br />accordance with the following schedule: <br /> <br />-4- <br />
