8/14/00 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13965 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS <br />AT THE TOWERS @ SHORES CENTER; APPROVING AND <br />ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT THEREOF; AUTHORIZING ASSIGNMENT <br />THEREOF; SUMMARY VACATION OF PORTIONS OF EXISTING <br />NON - ACCESS RESTRICTIONS AND RELINQUISHMENT OF <br />NEW ACCESS RESTRICTIONS ON TWIN DOLPHIN DRIVE AND <br />ON REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAY; AND ACCEPTING OFFER <br />TO DEDICATE RIGHT OF WAY FOR STREET PURPOSES ON <br />TWIN DOLPHIN DRIVE AND ON REDWOOD SHORES <br />PARKWAY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Construction of <br />Improvement — Towers @ Shores Center" (form dated 08 /14 /OORR), by and <br />between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California ( "City "), and M. V. Golden State Towers, LLC, a Delaware limited <br />liability company ( "Ground Lessee "), and Spieker Properties, L.P., a California <br />limited partnership, as the owner of record in fee ( "Fee Owner ") of said real <br />property located at 201, 203, and 205 Redwood Shores Parkway, Redwood City, <br />California, a copy of which Agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, said Agreement for and <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City, subject to the following conditions: <br />F:\.shared\Redwood \Council\ 1 <br />Reso -954 <br />FXS:ep <br />07127/00, 08102 /OOR; 08114/OORR <br />
