<br />MSR:yc:lO/7/77 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 1 7 1977 <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />0 R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1724 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1713, <br />ESTABLISHING SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEE <br />CLASSIFICATIONS RELATING TO MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL <br />ASSIGNMENTS, AND CERTAIN DESIGNATED OFFICERS; TO ADJUST <br />THE MONTHLY SALARY RATE FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1713, entitled "Ordinance <br /> <br />Establishing Salary and Wage Plan for Certain Employee Classifications <br /> <br />Relating to Management and Confidential Assignments, and Certain <br /> <br />Designated Officers; and Repealing Ordinance No. 1678, All Amendments <br /> <br />Thereto, and All Ordinances in Conflict Therewith," adopted July 18, <br /> <br />1977, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 4. <br /> <br />For the officers appointed by the Council, <br /> <br />the following monthly salary rates and/or monthly salary ranges <br /> <br />(expressed as minimum and maximum amounts), in dollars, are <br /> <br />hereby established: <br /> <br />" (a) <br /> <br />The City Clerk shall receive a monthly salary rate <br /> <br />established within a range of $1,400 to and including <br /> <br />$1,870. <br /> <br />" (b) <br /> <br />The Finance Director (holding consolidated offices <br /> <br />of City Auditor, City Assessor, and City Treasurer- <br /> <br />Collector) shall receive a monthly salary rate <br />established within a range of $2,070 to and including <br /> <br />$2,840. <br /> <br />"(c) <br /> <br />The City Attorney shall receive a monthly salary <br /> <br />rate established within a range of $2,375 to and <br /> <br />including $3,230. <br /> <br />" (d) <br /> <br />The City Manager shall receive a monthly salary of <br /> <br />$3,750. <br /> <br />"Monthly salary rates for Council appointees shall be <br /> <br />established and may be adjusted within the foregoing designated <br /> <br />1 724 <br />
