<br />"(c) <br /> <br />Senior Citizen Organization. 'Senior <br />citizen Organization' means only those <br />organizations which contain a minimum of <br />twenty (20) members each of which <br />members must be at least fifty (50) years <br />of age, and whose purpose is to provide <br />educational and recreational activities <br />for its members. <br /> <br />"Section 8A.3 <br /> <br />Permit Required. <br /> <br />Only a non-profit <br /> <br />organization or a senior citizen organization may obtain <br /> <br />a permit to operate or conduct a bingo game, and no <br /> <br />such organization shall operate or conduct a bingo <br /> <br />game without first obtaining a permit therefor as <br /> <br />An application for a bingo game <br /> <br />herein provided. <br /> <br />permit shall be made to the Chief of Police on a form <br /> <br />provided, or in the manner prescribed, by the Chief <br /> <br />of Police. <br /> <br />The application shall contain the follow- <br /> <br />" (a) <br /> <br />ing information: <br /> <br />" (b) <br /> <br />"(c) <br /> <br />The name and address of the applicant <br />organization; <br /> <br />The name and address of the person(s) <br />authorized or required by the applicant <br />organization to sign contracts, legal <br />documents, or otherwise to bind or <br />commit the organization, or act for or <br />on behalf of the organization; and <br /> <br />A brief description of the nature or <br />purpose of the applicant organization. <br /> <br />"The application shall be signed by the person or <br /> <br />persons designated in (b) above. <br /> <br />"Upon submission of the application as in this <br /> <br />section required, the certifications specified in <br /> <br />Section 8A.4, and the payment of the fee specified in <br /> <br />Section 8A.5, a permit shall be issued, effective for <br /> <br />a period of one year from the date of issuance. <br /> <br />A per- <br /> <br />mit may be renewed, or a new permit issued, upon com- <br /> <br />pliance with the requirements of this chapter pertaining <br /> <br />to the issuance of an initial permit. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />1723 <br />
