<br />any other phase of such game. <br /> <br />No individual, cor- <br /> <br />poration, partnership, or other legal entity, except <br /> <br />the organization permitted to conduct a bingo game, <br /> <br />shall hold a financial interest in the conduct of said <br /> <br />game. <br /> <br />"Section 8A.13 <br /> <br />Penalties. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />It shall be unlaw- <br /> <br />ful for any person to receive a profit, wage, commission, <br /> <br />salary or other compensation from any bingo game herein <br /> <br />authorized. <br /> <br />A violation of this Section 8A.13(a) shall <br /> <br />constitute a misdemeanor, which, upon conviction thereof, <br /> <br />shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000.00 <br /> <br />which fine shall be deposited in the general fund of <br /> <br />the City. <br /> <br />" (b) <br /> <br />Notwithstanding the provisions of Section <br /> <br />8A.13(a), it shall be unlawful, and an infraction under <br /> <br />this Section 8A.13(b), for any person to violate or <br /> <br />cause the violation of any of the provisions of this <br /> <br />chapter not specified in Section 8A.13(a). <br /> <br />A person <br /> <br />violating or causing the violation of any such provision <br /> <br />not specified in Section 8A.13(a) shall be guilty of <br /> <br />an infraction, and upon conviction thereof, shall be <br /> <br />punishable by the fines prescribed in Section 1.7(b) <br /> <br />of this Code. <br /> <br />Prevailing Provisions. <br /> <br />The pro- <br /> <br />"Section 8A.14 <br /> <br />visions of this chapter shall supersede the provisions <br /> <br />of Section 21.2 of this Code to the extent that Section <br /> <br />21.2 conflicts with, or is inconsistent with, the <br /> <br />provisions of this chapter." <br /> <br />SECTION 3. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective 30 days <br /> <br />after its adoption. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br />I 723 <br />
