ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13957 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR REMOVAL OF <br />STOCKPILE MATERIAL AT THE END OF MAPLE STREET; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />7/24/00 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13911, adopted June 12, 2000, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the removal of stockpile material at the end <br />of Maple Street in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS purs to said _ advertisement, -nine bids. were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Wright Environmental Services, Inc. of Tracy, California, is <br />the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to Wright Environmental Services, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Wright Environmental Services, Inc. in the amount of Four <br />Hundred Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty and No /100 Dollars <br />($408,750.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated June 30, <br />2000 for the removal of stockpile material at the end of Maple Street in the City <br />of Redwood City, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />Reso -935 1 <br />F /sh /sh /RC /Council <br />DES:djk <br />07/07/00 <br />
