<br />(b) <br /> <br />No tax is levied for the following General Improvement <br /> <br />Districts: <br /> <br />(i) <br /> <br />General Improvement District No. 1-65 as said <br /> <br />District was established by Resolution No. 4589, adopted <br /> <br />March 15, 1965; <br /> <br />(ii) General Improvement District No. 2-65 as <br /> <br />said District was established by Resolution No. 4591, adopted <br /> <br />March 15, 1965; <br /> <br />(iii) General Improvement District No. 3-65 as <br /> <br />said District was established by Resolution No. 4593, adopted <br /> <br />March 15, 1965. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. <br /> <br />REPEAL. <br /> <br />All ordinances or parts of ordinances <br /> <br />in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. <br /> <br />SEVERABILITY. <br /> <br />If any section, sentence, clause <br /> <br />or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held by a court <br /> <br />of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not <br /> <br />affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance, <br /> <br />and the City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted <br /> <br />said ordinance and each section, sentence, clause and phrase <br /> <br />thereof, irrespective of the fact that anyone or more section, <br /> <br />sentence, clause or phrase be declared invalid. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. <br /> <br />TRANSMITTAL TO COUNTY. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is hereby <br /> <br />directed to transmit certified copies of this ordinance to the <br /> <br />Auditor of the County of San Mateo in accordance with Section <br /> <br />51551 of the Government Code and to such other County officials <br /> <br />as may find it convenient or necessary to utilize this ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION 9. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall <br /> <br />take effect and be in force upon its adoption. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-5- <br />
