She encouraged the Commissioners to attend. ITEM 6 - DISCUSSION OF PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION CALENDAR The Commissioners discussed a need for a yearly programming calendar, not an events calendar. This item will be placed on the February agenda. ANNOUNCEMENTS -Superintendent Hover announced the MOU for the Windmill Project is moving forward and will be presented at the February Commission meeting and then to City Council. The proposed location of the windmill is at the front of Union Cemetery. -Director Centeno announced the following: . Martin Luther King Jr. exhibit at Main Library from January 15 to March 31 . Pre-School Preview Night on Thursday, February 3 at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center from 6:00-8:00pm . Arbor Day on Saturday, March 5 at 2:00pm at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center -Commissioner Truscelli announced the Outstanding Citizen Awards to be held on January 29 at the American Legion. Tickets are $33 and reservations are required.
