<br />including cash, awarded during the conduct of anyone bingo <br /> <br />game shall not exceed $250.00. <br /> <br />"Section 8A.13 <br /> <br />Operation. <br /> <br />A bingo game shall be operated <br /> <br />and staffed only by members of the non-profit organization <br /> <br />permitted to conduct such game. <br /> <br />Such members shall not receive <br /> <br />a profit, wage, commission, salary or compensation of any kind <br /> <br />in consideration for conducting or helping to conduct any bingo <br /> <br />game. <br /> <br />Only the organization authorized to conduct a bingo <br /> <br />game shall operate such game, or participate in the promotion, <br /> <br />supervision or any other phase of such game. <br /> <br />No individual, <br /> <br />corporation, partnership, or other legal entity, except the <br /> <br />organization permitted to conduct a bingo game, shall hold a <br /> <br />financial interest in the conduct of said game. <br /> <br />"Section 8A.14 <br /> <br />Penalties. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful <br /> <br />for any person to receive a profit, wage, commission, salary <br /> <br />or other compensation from any bingo game herein authorized. <br /> <br />A violation of this Section 8A.14(a) shall constitute a <br /> <br />misdemeanor, which, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable <br /> <br />by a fine not to exceed $10,000.00 which fine shall be deposited <br /> <br />in the general fund of the City. <br /> <br />"(b) <br /> <br />Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 8A.14(a), <br /> <br />it shall be unlawful, and an infraction under this Section <br /> <br />8A.14(b), for any person to violate or cause the violation of <br /> <br />any of the provisions of this chapter not specified in Section <br /> <br />8A. 14 (a) . <br /> <br />A person violating or causing the violation of any <br /> <br />such provision not specified in Section 8A.14(a) shall be guilty <br /> <br />of an infraction, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable <br /> <br />by the fines prescribed in Section 1.7(b) of this Code. <br /> <br />"Section 8A.15 <br /> <br />Prevailing Provisions. <br /> <br />The provisions <br /> <br />of this chapter shall supersede the provisions of Section 21.2 <br /> <br />-4- <br />
