<br />CGM: jp: 12/21/76 <br /> <br />0 R DIN AN C E <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1694 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 1 7 1971 <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 21.17 TO THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE PROHIBITION <br />OF AUTOMATIC CONNECTIONS TO TELEPHONE TRUNKLINES <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 21.17 is hereby added to the Code of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 21.17. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person <br /> <br />to use, or cause to be used, or permit to be used any <br /> <br />telephone device or telephone attachment or any electrical <br /> <br />or mechanical device that automatically selects any public <br /> <br />telephone trunkline of the City of Redwood City and then <br /> <br />reproduces any tone, signal or prerecorded message to <br /> <br />report any burglary, robbery, fire or other emergency. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective 30 days <br /> <br />after its adoption. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1694 <br />
