HSR:dp:lO/22/76 0 R DIN AN C E ~ Q.l6B 5 ORIGINAL Nay 8 1976 --------- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5.20 AND 5.71 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO CERTAIN ANIMAL LICENSE AND IMPOUNDMENT FEES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 5.20 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5.20. An annual license fee of eight dollars ($8.00) shall be paid for every unneutered male dog and every unspayed female dog over the age of three (3) months owned and harbored in the city. An annual license fee of four dollars ($4.00) shall be paid for every neutered male dog and every spayed female dog over the age of three (3) months owned and harbored in the city, upon presentation of proof that such dog has been neutered or spayed. Prior to issuance of a license for any dog over the age of four (4) months, proof shall be submitted of vaccination (or exemption therefrom) of such dog in accordance with the provisions of Division 3 of this article. The annual license fee shall be due on the first day of January of each year, and any person who fails to pay such license fee within sixty (60) days after the fee is due, or the dog is required to be licensed, shall pay a penalty of five dollars ($5.00) in addition to the payment of the license fee herein required." SECTION 2. Section 5.71 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5.71. The fees for animal shelter services in impounding and caring for animals shall be as follows, and no animal shall be released to its owner or keeper before such fees are paid in full: I68~)
