<br />MSR:sh:9/10/76 <br /> <br />0 R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />N o. 1 683 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br />SEP 27 1976 <br /> <br />-----"---- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT <br />BETWEEN THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA <br />PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />That an amendment to the Contract between the <br /> <br />Council of the City of Redwood City and the Board of Administra- <br /> <br />tion, California Public Employees' Retirement System, is hereby <br /> <br />authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, <br /> <br />marked "Exhibit A", and by such reference made a part hereof <br /> <br />as though herein set out in full. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />The Mayor of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> <br />authorized, empowered and directed to execute said amendment for <br /> <br />and on behalf of said City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall be effective 30 days after <br /> <br />the date of its adoption; provided, however, the provisions <br /> <br />hereof shall be operative from and after November 1,1976. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />16R~ <br />
