L6D <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 2.41.9 TO THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ESTABLISHING THE SELF-INSURANCE <br />TRUST FUND <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 2.41.9 is hereby added to the Code <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />A special fund to be known as the <br /> <br />"Section 2.41.9. <br /> <br />'Self-Insurance Trust Fundt is hereby established. <br /> <br />All <br /> <br />monies allocated to such fund shall be appropriated or <br /> <br />expended solely for the purpose of payment of all of the <br /> <br />City's costs related to the maintenance and operation of <br /> <br />a self-insured workers' compensation program, including, <br /> <br />but not limited to: <br /> <br />expenses involving administrative and <br /> <br />claims support services, legal services, safety engineering <br /> <br />services, claims liability and excess insurance." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective 30 days from <br /> <br />the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1677 <br />
