<br />MSR :wg: 2/24/76 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORD:!.NANCE No.166B <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1621, <br />ESTABLISHING A SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR CERTAIN <br />DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY¡ <br />TO MODIFY THE HOURLY SALARY RATE FOR FIRE FIGHTER <br />TRAINEE AND POLICE OFFICER TRAINEE <br /> <br />MAR 8 <br /> <br />1975 <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 32 of Ordinance No. 1621, entitled <br /> <br />"An Ordinance Establishing A Salary and Wage Plan for Certain <br /> <br />Designated Employees of the City of Redwood City: and Repeal- <br /> <br />ing Ordinance No. 1557," adopted January 27, 1975, is hereby <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 32. <br /> <br />Employees appointed to positions in <br /> <br />the following trainee classifications shall receive <br />compensation computed by the hour, for the designated <br /> <br />steps, and for the periods hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Fire Fighter Trainee: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />For the period January 1, 1976, through March 31, 1976: <br /> <br />Steps <br /> <br />(1) <br />$4.64 <br /> <br />(2) <br />$4.88 <br /> <br />(3) <br />$5.11 <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Effective April 1, 1976: <br /> <br /> Steps (1) (2) (3) <br /> $4.97 $5.21 $5.47 <br />(b) Police Officer Trainee: <br /> 1. For the period January 1, 1976, through July 30, 1976: <br /> <br /> Steps (1) (2) <br /> $4.03 $4.25 <br />2.
