The purpose of t,e grants is to provide an incentive to <br />increase t,e current recycling effort in order to reduce <br />the waste stream. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />~e amount av~ilable to each city or <br />$0.50 per capita based on the latest <br />by the State Department of Finance. <br />population estimates may be based on <br />service connections. <br /> <br />special district is <br />population esti~ate <br />Special district <br />the number of <br /> <br />3. Applicant's authorized representative submits a pro- <br />posal, including cost components, to San Hateo County <br />Director of Public Works, who shall be the County's <br />authorized representative. <br /> <br />2 . <br /> <br />Proposal is reviewed <br />successor co~mitte~, <br />of Public Works, for <br />;:ind criteria. <br /> <br />by the Recycling Task Force or <br />if any, otherwise the Director <br />conformance with objectives <br /> <br />3 . <br /> <br />Apnlic~nt's ~uthori=ed represent~tive signs AGreement, <br />i~~lllclinq Exhihit "A", outlining the proposal: and a <br />certiEi~~ minute order or resolution demonstrating City <br />Councilor District Board sponsorship. <br /> <br />4.
