<br />DES:djk 09/25/90 <br />OHiGIf~I\L <br /> <br />(016/28) <br /> <br />OCT 1 1990 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />-t "1 L\ n ~O <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF CERTAIN CITY- <br />OWNED SURPLUS PROPERTY, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SALE <br />DOCUMENT THEREFOR, AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br />PERTAINING THERETO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11370 adopted August 13, <br /> <br />1990, this Council declared certain City-owned property surplus, <br /> <br />to wit: 36,000 square feet, more or less, of synthetic turfgrass <br /> <br />and authorized advertisement for sealed bids for sale thereof; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, one bid had been <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Diablo Valley Radio Controllers of Antioch, <br /> <br />California was the sole bidder of said surplus property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept said bid and to <br /> <br />authorize execution of a bill of sale therefor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The sole bid of Diablo Valley Radio Controllers of <br /> <br />Antioch, California, in the amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred <br /> <br />Nine and No/I00 Dollars ($2,509.00) for the purchase of 36,000 <br /> <br />square feet, more or less, of surplus synthetic turfgrass, as set <br /> <br />forth in said bidder's proposal dated August 22, 1990, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said purchase. <br />
