<br />¿(. ¿ ð-,Z <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal property <br /> <br />described as being one (1) 1988 "Scott" test bench used for annual testing of self- <br /> <br />contained breathing apparatus used by the Redwood City Fire Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property is not needed <br /> <br />for present or prospective municipal or public purposes, and should be declared <br /> <br />surplus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and determined that <br /> <br />the current reasonable market value of the total of each of the surplus items to be sold <br /> <br />as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to declare said property <br /> <br />surplus and authorize its sale in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that the 1988 Scott test <br /> <br />bench is are no longer necessary or required for municipal or public purposes and that <br /> <br />the appraised value is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000). <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />This Council hereby authorizes and directs the Finance Director to convey <br /> <br />to S&S Supplies and Solutions Co., the 1988 Scott test bench in accordance with <br /> <br />Section 3-1/2 of the Redwood City Charter. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />This Resolution shall be effective upon the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />Atty/Reso.1569 <br />101005 <br /> <br />* * * <br />
