EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Brainfuse shall provide online tutoring to Library students pursuant to the terms set forth <br />herein. (For the sake of clarity, "Brainfuse" is the "Consultant' referred to in the <br />Agreement to which this Exhibit A is attached.) Brainfuse grants Library a nonexclusive <br />right to use the Brainfuse Program website for the use of the Brainfuse Program. <br />Brainfuse shall prepare and provide instant access homework help for Library students <br />in mathematics, English, social studies, and science to the Library branches <br />(hereinafter, the "Brainfuse Program"). <br />The Brainfuse Program shall commence on February 1, 2018. No interruption of service <br />will occur during the transition from the previous agreement, which expires January 31, <br />2018. <br />The Brainfuse Program will include all of the following components: <br />• ON -DEMAND, ONE-TO-ONE ONLINE HOMEWORK HELP: Students draw or <br />type their question in the online classroom and receive live homework assistance <br />from a Brainfuse-certified tutor. <br />• SPANISH LANGUAGE SUPPORT: Brainfuse supplies tutoring services in <br />Spanish for all subjects offered in English. <br />• COMPREHENSIVE WRITING ASSISTANCE: While some online tutoring <br />providers offer library patrons only live writing assistance (and reserve intensive, <br />asynchronous analysis for their higher education and K-12 clients) Brainfuse <br />provides both live and asynchronous analysis at no additional charge. <br />• Real -Time Writing Assistance: Patrons receive live writing assistance from <br />Brainfuse tutors via an online classroom that features intuitive copy/paste <br />functions, secure file sharing, and real-time document sharing (including <br />PowerPoint and Excel). <br />• Asynchronous (Drop -Off) Writing Analysis: Brainfuse research has found that <br />attempts to quickly analyze lengthy papers during a live session often devolve <br />into excessive editing, reactive comments, and fragmented feedback. <br />• SKILLSURFER: With SkillSurfer, patrons enjoy unlimited access to self -paced <br />learning through an extensive library of proprietary lessons, video tutorials, and <br />practice tests.
