<br />6'. / /I-~ <br /> <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />REDWOOD CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, entered into this - day of <br />, 20_, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter <br /> <br />called "County," and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br />California, hereinafter called "City," and the REDWOOD CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br />DISTRICT, hereinafter called "District"; all of which entities are referred to collectively as the <br /> <br />"Parties" for the Redwood City Family Centers. <br /> <br />WIINE~~EIH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with <br />independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department <br />thereof; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Agreement for the Redwood City Family <br />Centers to provide coordination and administrative support to interagency school based family <br />resource centers at Taft, Fair Oaks, Hoover and Kennedy Schools, which provide human <br />services, health services, educational support and community development activities to a <br />community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the County, by Change Order Number One added 1% Cost of Doing <br />Business Increase (COBI) for FY 2004-05 to increase its contribution to $10 I ,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties wish to further amend the Agreement to confirm their FY 2005- <br />06 contributions to continue support the work of the Redwood City Family Centers for the term <br />of July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2006. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />- I - <br />
