<br /> <br />REPORT' <br /> <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />and the Redevelopment Agency Board from <br />the Ci Mana er and Executive Director <br /> <br />November 14, 2005 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Final Acceptance - Marshall Street Parking Structure Modifications <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Accept the Marshall Street Parking Structure Modifications, and release the bonds and <br />retention. <br /> <br />Background <br />On March 28, 2005, the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency approved the <br />award of the Marshall Street Parking Structure Modifications to John Plane <br />Construction, Inc. from Burlingame, CA. in the amount of $244,000. <br /> <br />The work consisted of making modifications to the Marshall Street Parking Facility to <br />accommodate the new parking control equipment that will be installed at the three <br />downtown parking facilities; Marshall Street Parking Structure, the new Underground <br />.Parking Facility off of Jefferson Avenue, and the surface parking lot on Winslow (Block <br />2). Primary work included demolition and widening of the concrete ramp entrances and <br />walls; and installing new conduits and wiring to accept the new parking control <br />equipment. <br /> <br />The work has been completed on time, per approyed plans, and within budget.
