<br />MINUTE ORDER <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />November 14.2005 <br />MO. 05-224 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />November 15, 2005 <br /> <br />Attention: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br />Planning and Community Development Services Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Agreement with the Sequoia High School Alumni Association <br />(SHSAA) for the loan of City-owned historic artifacts <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1G (304) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on November 14,2005. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Aguirre, Bain, Foust, Hartnett, Pierce, <br />and Mayor Ira <br /> <br />Absent: Council Member Howard <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />MIS FoustlBain to approve the "Custodial Agreement" allowing the loan of <br />historic artifacts and adopt the following findings: <br /> <br />1. There is a connection between the subject artifacts and the history of <br />Sequoia High School. The artifacts were uncovered at the original <br />location of the Sequoia High School campus on City-owned land during <br />the excavation of the Jefferson Avenue parking garage. <br /> <br />2. The objects which are part of this loan agreement where selected by <br />representatives from the SHSAA because of their historic link to the <br />original high school. <br />
