EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Funding for this agreement has been granted from the San Mateo County Health <br />System, Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to support the <br />Redwood City and North Fair Oaks Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Partnership. <br />The SMC Sheriffs Office will work in collaboration with the AOD Abuse Prevention <br />Partnership to decrease harm to youth by reducing underage access to harmful <br />environmental factors influenced by and related to Alcohol and Other Drugs. <br />Specific tasks will include: <br />• The SMC Sheriffs Office will coordinate 4 decoy operations through Redwood <br />City/North Fair Oaks (RWC/NFO), with emphasis on neighborhoods around <br />Redwood, Sequoia, and Woodside High Schools. <br />During each operation the law enforcement team will attempt to purchase <br />alcohol from at least 20 stores in the above-mentioned areas. <br />• In partnership with Redwood City 2020, SMC Sheriffs Office will publically <br />acknowledge and recognize merchants for participating in efforts to reduce <br />selling alcohol to youth. <br />Assigned SMC Sheriffs Office staff will attend monthly Prevention Partnership <br />Steering Committee meetings. <br />• Complete other tasks related the Redwood City 2020 AOD Prevention <br />Partnership as assigned and agreed upon by SM Sheriffs Office and Redwood <br />City 2020. <br />Consultant will invoice Redwood City 2020 at the conclusion of services provided, <br />providing documentation of actions. If all deliverables are met, payment will be the full <br />and total compensation unless otherwise determined pursuant to actions invoiced. <br />Unless earlier terminated, the term of this Agreement will be effective from July 1, <br />2017 until June 30, 2018. <br />Page 10 of 10 <br />REV: 11-13-17 RL <br />ATTY/AGR.2017.269/AOD - San Mateo County Sheriffs Office <br />
