Key Recommendations
Site 06: Bradford Street / Redwood Creek
•Site 06 should be advanced under a distinct but parallel track to Phase
II, as it presents a unique opportunity to achieve different but related
objectives to this project.
•This site holds the potential to be a recreational corridor and key
connection that provides access from Downtown to the Bay Trail and
to the existing residential uses east of HWY 101.
•This site presents an opportunity for significant ecological restoration.
Site 03: City Hall / Main Street
•Site 03 should be advanced to Phase II.
•This site could be a centrally-located public space, connecting the
commercial downtown to the civic uses at City Hall and the Library.
•A park in this space will succeed best if redevelopment of adjacent
properties fronts onto the space.
Site 02: Library Campus / Roselli Park
•Library Lot A and Roselli Park should be advanced to Phase II.
•Site visibility, the natural contingency of Library users, the proximity of
residential uses, and an existing park facility (Roselli Park) in need of a
refresh make this a preferred location.
