Exhibit A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />1. Scope of Services. Consultant shall provide thorough, accurate and <br />professional services both On -Site at the City of Redwood City offices and Off -Site <br />as follows: <br />REV: 04-08-2020 RL <br />1.1 Plan Review Services. Consultant shall perform plan review services <br />as directed by the Project Administrator. All plan review services provided <br />by Consultant include the initial plan review and all subsequent re -reviews <br />as necessary for building permit issuance. <br />1.2 Building Inspection Services. Consultant shall perform building <br />inspection services for a specified number of hours as directed by the Project <br />Administrator. These services s h a I I include review of all approved plans, <br />specifications and documents, review and respond to all inspection requests <br />and reports, attend mandatory meetings, including, but not limited to, safety <br />training, City staff coordination, applicant progress and project <br />management meetings, perform inspections for compliance to <br />applicable State of California Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire <br />codes, as well as State energy efficiency and accessibility standards as <br />amended by the City of Redwood City. Consultant's services may include a <br />State of California registered Fire Protection Engineer, to complete all Fire <br />Code inspection services requested by the City, or CASp certified <br />inspections as directed by the City of Redwood City Building Official or <br />his/her designee. <br />1.3 Permitting Services. Consultant shall perform permit process services <br />for a specified number of hours as directed by the Project Administrator. <br />Consultant shall assist architects, contractors and the public in accepting, <br />processing and tracking applications for building permits, calculating and <br />collecting permit fees, and providing General Plan and Zoning information. <br />These services include front counter and phone assistance regarding <br />building permit requirements, plan check fees, plan check filing procedures <br />and processing, and permit status, accept permit applications, calculate and <br />apply fees, and reviews plans for conditions of prior approval. <br />1.4 Code Enforcement Services. Consultant shall perform code <br />enforcement services for a specified number of hours as directed by the <br />Project Administrator. These services shall include identifying code <br />violations and engaging stakeholders and responsible parties to correct code <br />violations consistent with municipal and state codes tailored to the specific <br />needs of the City. <br />ATTY/AGR.Amend.
