Exhibit A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Itemized List of what Consultant will do for City. <br />1. Scope of Services. Consultant shall provide thorough, accurate and <br />professional services both On -Site at the City of Redwood City offices and <br />Off -Site asfollows: <br />REV: 04-20-2020 RL <br />1.1 Plan Review Services. Consultant shall perform plan review <br />services as directed by the Project Administrator. All plan review <br />services provided by Consultant shall include the initial plan <br />review and all subsequent re -reviews as necessary for building <br />permit issuance. <br />1.2 Building Inspection Services. Consultant shall perform <br />building inspection services for a specified number of hours as <br />directed by the Project Administrator. These services shall include <br />review of all approved plans, specifications and documents, review <br />and respond to all inspection requests and reports, attend mandatory <br />meetings, including, but not limited to, safety training, City staff <br />coordination, applicant progress and project management <br />meetings, perform inspections for compliance to applicable State <br />of California Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire codes, <br />as well as State energy efficiency and accessibility standards as <br />amended by the City of Redwood City. Consultant's services may <br />include a State of California registered Fire Protection Engineer, to <br />complete all Fire Code inspection services requested by the City, <br />or CASp certified inspections as directed by the City of Redwood City <br />Building Official or his/her designee. <br />1.3 Permitting Services. Consultant shall perform permit process <br />services for a specified number of hours as directed by the Project <br />Administrator. Consultant shall assist architects, contractors and the <br />public in accepting, processing and tracking applications for building <br />permits, calculating and collecting permit fees, and providing General <br />Plan and Zoning information. These services include front counter <br />and phone assistance regarding building permit requirements, plan <br />check fees, plan check filing procedures and processing, and permit <br />status, accept permit applications, calculate and apply fees, and <br />reviews plans for conditions of prior approval. <br />1.4 Code Enforcement Services. Consultant shall perform code <br />enforcement services for a specified number of hours as directed by <br />the Project Administrator. These services shall include identifying <br />code violations and engaging stakeholders and responsible parties <br />to correct code violations consistent with municipal and state codes <br />ATTY/AGR.Amend.
