<br />MINUTE ORDER <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />November 14.2005 <br />MO. 05-232 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />November 15, 2005 <br /> <br />Attention: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Consideration of draft "Guiding Principles for Property <br />Acquisition" prepared by the Ad Hoc Committee on <br />Redevelopment <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: SA (203) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on November 14, 2005. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Aguirre, Bain, Foust, Hartnett, Pierce, <br />and Mayor Ira <br /> <br />Absent: Council Member Howard <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />MIS Pierce/Bain to accept the "Guiding Principles for Property Acquisition" <br />prepared by the Ad Hoc Committee on Redevelopment and direct the City <br />Manager to implement the distribution of these guidelines to pertinent staff and <br />provide appropriate direction in the use of these guidelines with the following <br />revision: <br /> <br />Article 3 <br /> <br />Understand that the City's development projects have significant <br />impacts on the property owners, the properties' neighbors, <br />adjacent businesses, individuals, and the community <br /> <br />a. We will be sensitive and act accordingly in regards to the tangible <br />and intangible impacts a project will have on the involved property <br />owners, the property's neighbors, nearby business owners, and <br />the community at-large; <br />
