I <br />R E S O L V T 2 0 n <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR _ --- <br />DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND� <br />RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7030 <br />WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of <br />California requires that deeds or grants conveying an interest in real <br />property to political corporations must be accepted by the grantees prior <br />to being recorded; and <br />WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an officer or <br />agent may be designated by the political corporation to accept such deeds <br />on its behalf; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That Jacqueline C. Hildebrand, City Clerk of the City of Redwood <br />City, be and she hereby is authorized to accept, on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City, all deeds or grants conveying an interest in or easement <br />upon real estate to the City of Redwood City. <br />2.
