RESOLUTION NO. P - 2367 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE AND <br />DELIVERY OF COMPUTER INFRASTRUCTURE UPDATES <br />WITH DATA SERVERS, CLIENT COMPUTERS, SOFTWARE <br />AND LICENSES FOR THE PORT OF REDWOOD CITY; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK <br />WHEREAS, the Port Executive Director requested bids for the purchase <br />and installation of computer updates, softwares and licenses for the Port's <br />computer system at the Port of Redwood City, Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, three (3) bids were received for the performance of said work <br />and filed with the Port Executive Director; and <br />WHEREAS, Dell EMC, of Round Rock, Texas is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Board of Port Commissioners to <br />award said bid to Dell EMC. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Dell EMC and consultants' fees in the amount of Sixty - <br />Thousand -Two -Hundred -Thirty -Seven and 32/100 Dollars ($60,237.32), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated December 7, 2017, for the <br />purchase and delivery of computer updates, software and licenses is hereby <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br />. 1 - <br />Reso P-2367 <br />
