<br />DES:djk 07 9/90 (064/26) <br />,;dNAL <br /> <br />JUL 2 3 199U <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 2. 1.13S' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE <br />(1) BOBCAT LOADER WITH ATTACHMENTS UNDER BID OF GENERAL <br />SERVICES ADMINISTRATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA <br />PURSUANT TO REDWOOD CITY CODE SECTION 2.80 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br /> <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br /> <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to contract awarded by the General <br /> <br />Services Administration of the United States of America to Melroe <br /> <br />Company (Contract No. GS07F-17056) for the procurement of Bobcat <br /> <br />Loaders and attachments, such equipment has been offered to other <br /> <br />other public agencies at a price or prices equivalent to those <br /> <br />submitted by bid to said General Services Administration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purchasing requirements of the General Services <br /> <br />Administration pursuant to which the bid of the aforesaid Melroe <br /> <br />Company was submitted complies with the requirements of Redwood <br /> <br />City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />purchase one <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Bobcat Loader with backhoe and planer <br /> <br />attachments pursuant to the bid of Melroe Company submitted to <br /> <br />the aforesaid federal agency; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
