O. ~;L...- <br /> <br />JUL 2 3 1990 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES RELATING TO BLOMQUIST STREET EXTENSION PROJECT <br /> <br />(A. L. BLISS ENGINEERING, INC.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes to realign <br /> <br />certain streets and to extend Blomquist Street from its <br /> <br />intersection with Maple Street to an intersection with Bair <br /> <br />Island Road (the "Project"); <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City requires certain professional consulting <br /> <br />engineering services relating to the Project; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, A. L. Bliss Engineering, Inc., of Palo Alto, <br /> <br />California, represents that it is qualified, on the basis of <br /> <br />experience and expertise, to perform the unique professional <br /> <br />consulting engineering services required for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br /> <br />Council a proposed agreement with the aforesaid consultant for <br /> <br />the performance of said services, and this Council desires to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize execution thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Consulting Engineering Services (Blomquist Road Extension)" (form <br /> <br />dated 7/18/90) by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California and A. L. Bliss <br /> <br />Engineering, Inc., of Palo Alto, California, for the performance <br /> <br />of professional consulting engineering services therein described <br />
