Cultural Resources (Discovery of Cultural Resources) — <br />Mitigation Measure #11: The City requires that if cultural resources are <br />encountered during excavation or site preparation, such work shall be halted <br />immediately in the area of discovery and the project sponsor shall <br />immediately notify the Community Development Director of the discovery. <br />The project sponsor shall be required to retain the services of a qualified <br />archaeologist for the purpose of evaluating, recording, protecting, or curating <br />the discovery as appropriate. The archaeologist shall be required to submit <br />a Cultural Resources Management Plan, per City requirements, to the <br />Community Development Director for review and approval that outlines the <br />findings and mitigation methods of curation and/or protection of the <br />resources. Disposition of Native American remains shall comply with CEQA <br />Guidelines Section 15064.5(e). [COA][PLANNING] <br />I. Geology and Soils (Geotechnical Studies) — Mitigation <br />Measure #12: Site-specific geotechnical studies shall be conducted for all <br />new developments within the Precise Plan area to provide design -level <br />geotechnical recommendations for site grading, building foundation types, <br />and potential geologic hazards. These design -level recommendations shall <br />be incorporated into projects and approved by the City Engineer. <br />[COA][ENGINEERING] <br />m. Noise (Construction Noise) — Mitigation Measure #13: <br />Implementation of the following construction -related noise reduction <br />measures would reduce potentially significant noise impacts to a less than <br />significant level: [COA][BUILDING] <br />i. Construction Scheduling. Ensure that noise -generating <br />construction activity is limited to between the hours of 7:00 AM to <br />8:00 PM, Monday through Fridlcay, and noise levels generated <br />by construction are prohibited on Saturdays, Sundays and <br />holidays. (Redwood City Municipal Code Section 24.30) <br />ii. Construction Equipment Mufflers and Maintenance. Equip all <br />internal combustion engine -driven equipment with intake and <br />exhaust mufflers that are in good condition and appropriate for <br />the equipment. <br />iii. Equipment Locations. Locate stationary noise -generating <br />equipment as far as possible from sensitive receptors when <br />sensitive receptors adjoin or are near a construction project site. <br />iv. Construction Traffic.
