d. Pursuant to the Fourth Amendment, the City gave its consent to extend <br />the term of the Amended Development Agreement for sixty (60) days from the <br />Termination Date and provided for notices, demands, and requests to RSP be sent to <br />Redwood Shores Properties, 1875 S. Grant Street, Suite 1000, San Mateo, California, <br />or such other address as RSP may give to the City by like written notice. <br /> <br /> e. The term of the Amended Development Agreement commenced on the <br />effective date of the ordinance approving it (which was June 23, 1982) and continued <br />for a period of fifteen (15) years to June 23, 1997 (the "Termination Date"); and by said <br />Third Amendment said Termination Date was extended and continued for a pedod of <br />five (5) years to June 23, 2002; and by said Fourth Amendment, said Termination Date <br />was extended and continued for a period of sixty (60) days to August 23, 2002. The <br />City and RSP desire to extend the term of the Amended Development Agreement by <br />sixty (60) days to allow for negotiations to be completed on amendments to the <br />Agreement to provide for the orderly completion of the Redwood Shores project. <br /> <br /> f. Pursuant to Government Code sections 65864-65869.5, as the same now <br /> <br />existed or hereinafter are amended, has been adopted by the planning agency and the <br />legislative body of the City, after duly noticed public hearings. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and <br />sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Extension of Term.
