<br />EXHIBIT <br /> <br />A <br /> <br />DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Design development agreement between artist-designer, Cork Marcheschi and the RDA of <br />Redwood City for the Theater Way 2 proiect - Lanterns. <br /> <br />Cork Marcheschi will work in consort with the RDA office and appointed members of Redwood <br />City's engineering staff to collaborate on specific points of fabrication and installation. <br /> <br />The scope of this agreement covers: <br />Shop drawings, Dichroic glass samples, a full scale aluminum prototype, cost estimates, time <br />line for fabrication, materials, base and pole installation details, and studio visits for progress <br />verification. <br /> <br />Fee schedule: <br /> <br />33% upon signing of agreement. $3,332 <br /> <br />33% upon submittal of shop drawings of lanterns and glass samples to RDA. $3,332 <br /> <br />33% upon completion of meetings with city engineers and the completion of the drawings for the <br />mechanical fastening devices to hang lanterns from the light poles. <br />This includes the single large pole mounted lantern (5 to 7 feet tall). $3,331 <br /> <br />Total fee for design development, $9,995.00. <br />
