Adopt a resolution reciting the facts of the Consolidated Special and General <br />Municipal Election held on November 8, 2005 and declaring the result and such <br />other matters as provided by law. <br /> <br />Background <br />On November 28, 2005, City Council adopted Resolution 14676 declaring results of the <br />Consolidated Special and General Election subject to any substantial or significant <br />factual or numerical deviation adversely affecting the election results. This office has <br />received the Certificate of the Chief Elections Officer of the County of San Mateo, <br />executed on November 29,2005, which does not establish any such deviations. Minor <br />changes to the Semi Official Results made by the Chief Elections Officer adds two (2) <br />votes for Council Member Aguirre, one (1) vote each for CounçJI Members Howard, Ira, <br />and Hartnett, and two ( 2 ) votes for Measure L, two (2) votes for Measure M, and one <br />( 1) vote for Measure N. <br /> <br />Attachment <br />Draft resolution, Exhibit "A" - Certificates of the Chief Elections Officer and Final Official <br />Canvass for City Council Election; Measures L, M and N. <br /> <br />~. ~.
