The motion passed by a unanimous <br /> voice vote. (209) MINUTE ORDER 02-13 <br /> <br />12. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST - <br /> <br /> A. BUDGET CALENDAR; <br /> <br /> City Manager Everett suggested the budget sessions be scheduled for July 22 and 29, 2002. <br /> Consensus of Council was to schedule the budget sessions for July 22 and 29. <br /> <br /> 7:55 p. m. - Vice Mayor Ira left the dais due to a potential conflict of interest with respect to the <br /> Retad/Cinema project. <br /> <br /> B. CINEMA UPDATE; <br /> <br /> Council Member Hartnett, Committee Chairperson, stated the subcommittee had met the <br /> previous week. He stated that the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) is in <br /> place, that no changes have been made to it and any revisions would be subject to Council <br /> consideration and approval. <br /> <br /> Council Member Jordan stated that the issue is an important issue that Council should have <br /> been infom~ed of. She asked that the Council be apprised of important information at <br /> appropriate times. <br /> <br /> Mayor Claire expressed support for devising a mechanism to provide information from <br /> Council subcommittees on a regular basis to the Council. <br /> <br /> Council Member Harmett stated that without an office building, the parking needs and <br /> requirements are changed because the garage and size of the parking garage has to do in <br /> part with the size of the office building and the use of the parking garage.
