Expanded Role of the Civic Cultural Commission <br />Centralize the public art process by dissolving the Public Art Task <br />Force and expanding the responsibilities of the CCC <br /> <br />Full CCC review public art proposals and vote to move project on or <br />not <br /> <br />If a “yes” vote to move on, the CCC creates a Steering Committee <br />made up of artists, architects, designers, etc. to provide input and <br />direction on proposal. <br /> <br />A CCC member acts as the lead for public art projects to ensure <br />communication with staff and to Council on all steps from initial <br />approval process to realization phase. <br /> <br />
