<br /> <br /> <br />SEWER PUMP STN REHAB PROGRAM (83204) <br />SEWER <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />The Redwood Shores Area currently has a total of 26 sanitary sewer <br />pump stations and the Seaport Center/Pacific Shores Center Area <br />has 5 sanitary sewer pump stations. Over the past ten years, the <br />City has made improvements to numerous sanitary sewer pump <br />stations. Pump stations are selected for improvements after <br />Engineering and Public Works Services staff evaluate the condition <br />of the existing facilities and the overall functionality of the pump <br />station. <br />LOCATION DESCRIPTION: <br />Citywide <br />PROJECT BENEFITS <br /> Improves the pumping efficiency, ease of operation, and safety of the facility. <br />PROJECT STATUS <br />The "Sanitary Sewer Pump Station Improvements Project ‐ Pump Station No. 13 and 16” has been awarded to Casey <br />Construction and to date, construction is 40% complete. Construction is expected to be completed in Spring of 2018; the <br />proposed "Sanitary Sewer Pump Station Improvements Project ‐ Pump Station No. 18 and 20", is currently in design by <br />HydroScience Engineers and to date, is 25% complete. The project will be bid in late Spring of 2018.
