ATTY/RESO.0028/CC RESO AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR RWC SCHOOL DISTRICT SAFE ROUTES <br />REV: 04-16-18 PR <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of <br />the amount awarded, to find that the project is exempt from the requirements of CEQA, <br />and to amend the revenue and expenditure budget of the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 <br />Various Transportation Grants Fund. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The contract documents are approved and the standard form <br />contract 00520 for the Redwood City School District - Safe Routes to School Project is <br />awarded to Sposeto Engineering, Inc. of Livermore, California for their responsible and <br />responsive low base bid of $728,066.40. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to increase the contract amount, if <br />necessary, up to 10% of the amount awarded. <br /> <br />Section 3. The project is exempt from the requirements of CEQA under CEQA <br />Guidelines Section 15302 (Replacement or Reconstruction). <br /> <br />Section 4. The Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Various Transportation Grants Fund <br />revenue budget shall be increased by $46,220.00. <br /> <br />Section 5. The Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Various Transportation Grants Fund <br />expenditure budget shall be increased by $46,220.00. <br /> <br /> * * * <br />6.3.B. - Page 7
