4. Close public hearing; <br />M/S Aguirre/Masur to close the public hearing. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br />5. Council discussion; <br />Recommendation: <br />1) Hold a public hearing; <br />2) Waive First Reading and Introduce an Ordinance Amending Article 59 <br />(Cannabis Cultivation and Commercial Cannabis Activity) of the <br />Redwood City Zoning Ordinance to allow delivery centers without <br />walk-in retail and indoor nurseries and to continue to allow cannabis <br />deliveries, and find that project is exempt from the requirements of <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Section 15061 <br />(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines and Section 26055(h) of the Business <br />and Professional Code; <br />3) Waive First Reading and Introduce an Ordinance adding Division 7 <br />(Regulation of Cannabis Businesses) to Article V of Chapter 32 of <br />Municipal Code, and find that project is exempt from the <br />requirements of CEQA under Section 15061 (b)(3) of the CEQA <br />Guidelines and Section 26055(h) of the Business and Professional <br />Code; <br />4) Adopt a Resolution Adopting Certain Fees and Charges For Cannabis <br />Business Permits; and <br />5) Provide Direction on Future Cannabis Regulations and Activities <br />M/S Seybert/Masur to approve the recommendations listed above, as <br />amended to include: (1) security measures will comply with State law, not <br />above and beyond, and delete the requirement for security at nurseries, and <br />(2) reducing the sensitive -use buffer from 1000 feet to 600 feet. <br />Motion carried 5-2 with Council Member Gee and Vice Mayor Howard <br />opposed. <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AMENDING ARTICLE 59 OF THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE <br />REGARDING COMMERCIAL CANNABIS ACTIVITIES <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />ADDING DIVISION 7 (REGULATION OF CANNABIS BUSINESSES) TO ARTICLE <br />V OF CHAPTER 32 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF REDWOOD CITY <br />MINUTE ORDER 18-058 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15653 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING CERTAIN FEES AND CHARGES FOR <br />CANNABIS BUSINESS PERMITS <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD/ April 9, 2018 <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES PAGE 6 <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 66 <br />Page No. 437 <br />
