NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Redwood City as follows: <br />Section 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br />incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />Section 2. The Zoning Ordinance Amendment was presented to the Planning <br />Commission at its meeting on April 17, 2018, was filed and made available at the Office <br />of the City Clerk, and is incorporated herein by this reference. <br />Section 3. Addendum: The Planning Commission finds, determines and <br />recommends that: <br />a. The Addendum was prepared in accordance with all legal <br />requirements, including CEQA Guidelines section 15164. <br />b. The Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the <br />Addendum, the General Plan EIR and other information in the <br />entire record and has considered the information contained therein, <br />including the written and oral comments received at the public <br />hearing on the Project, prior to acting upon or approving the Zoning <br />Ordinance Amendment. <br />C. Based on substantial evidence in the record, the proposed Zoning <br />Ordinance Amendment is within the scope of the previously <br />certified General Plan EIR for the purposes of CEQA. <br />d. As set forth in CEQA Guidelines section 15162(a), there are no <br />new significant impacts nor any increase in the severity of <br />previously identified impacts and no new mitigation measures are <br />required beyond those identified in the General Plan EIR. <br />e. The Planning Commission recommends that the City Council <br />approve and adopt the Addendum. <br />f. Pursuant to Guidelines section 15091(e), the documents and other <br />materials that constitute the record of proceedings upon which the Planning <br />Commission has based its decision are located in and may be obtained from, the Office <br />of the City Clerk at 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California. The City Clerk is <br />the custodian of records for all matters before the City. <br />Section 4. Based on the facts in the staff report, written and oral testimony, and <br />exhibits presented, the Planning Commission finds the Zoning Ordinance Amendment <br />to be in the public interest and in conformance with the General Plan and the goals and <br />objectives of Article 41 of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />ATTY/RESO.0026/PC RESO ZONING MIXED USED WATERFRONT DISTRICT <br />REV: 04-13-18 PR <br />Page 2 of 17 <br />
