P- 273 <br />ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENT WITH <br />SIMS GROUP USA CORPORATION DBA SIMS METAL <br />MANAGEMENT <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Public hearing having been duly noticed for, and held on A ril <br />25, 2018, on the question of approval of the lease agreement hereinafter <br />described, and pursuant to the provisions of Section 48 of the Charter of the City <br />of Redwood City, the Board of Port Commissioners of the City of Redwood City <br />does hereby approve that certain lease agreement entitled "Lease Agreement <br />(Sims Group USA Corporation, dba Sims Metal Management)" (the "Lease <br />Agreement"), by and between the City of Redwood City, acting by and through its <br />Board of Port Commissioners ("Port") and Sims Group USA Corporation, dba <br />Sims Metal Management ("Tenant"), which Lease Agreement provides that the <br />premises which are subject to the Lease Agreement (the "Premises") are located <br />at 699 Seaport Blvd., in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of <br />California, consisting of several parcels of land, a Wharf Access area, and an <br />incidental easement area, and all facilities located thereon, which Premises are <br />generally described and depicted on Attachment "A," attached hereto, and shall <br />be used for the purpose of operating a full service recycling facility for various <br />scrap material commodities, and shredding, receiving, handling, loading and <br />Port 1 <br />Sims <br />05/22/18 <br />
