NAN C E NO. /1.3 O. / -s.-4 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2.40,4.4,5.4, 6.4, 7.4, <br />8.4, 9.4, 10.4, 30.5, 31.8, 31.12, and 51.1 OF, AND <br />ADDING SECTION 2.39 TO, ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE <br />DEFINITION OF FAMILY, FAMILY CARE HOMES IN RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICTS, SIZE OF PARKING SPACES, FENCES AND WALLS, <br />SWIMMING POOLS AND ZONING ORDINANCE INTERPRETATION <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 2.40 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood <br /> <br />City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1974, as amended, is hereby <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 2.40 Familv. <br /> <br />One person living alone, or two <br /> <br />or more persons related by blood, marriage, or legal adoption <br /> <br />or a group not exceeding four persons living as a single <br /> <br />housekeeping unit." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />Section 4.4 of the abovementioned Ordinance No. <br /> <br />1130 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 4.4 Conditional Uses. <br /> <br />The following structures <br /> <br />and uses are permitted in the RH District subject to first <br /> <br />securing a use permit therefor: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Public and quasi-public uses, except corporation <br />yards, storage or repair yards and warehouses. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Dwelling groups on lots having a minimum of <br />50 feet of frontage on a public street. <br /> <br />(c) <br />(d) <br /> <br />Temporary tract offices. <br /> <br />Parking lots and garages serving activities in <br />adjacent industrial or commercial zones for <br />customer and employee parking only, on parcels <br />within the district adjacent to industrial or <br />commercial zoning districts and not separated <br />from the activities by any street, alley or <br />other public or private right of way. <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />Family care homes. <br /> <br />1/30. /S{ <br />
