ATTY/ORD.464/RC MUNICIPAL CODE CANNABIS BUSNIESS REGULATIONS <br />REV: 04-27-18 MI <br />Page 17 of 22 <br />cannabis packaging shall be in accordance with Section 26120 of the Business <br />and Professions Code and any other applicable state law or regulation. For the <br />purposes of child resistant packaging, a product containing 10 mg or less of THC <br />is considered a single use product. For the purposes of child resistant packaging, <br />a product containing more than 10 mg of THC is considered a multiple use product. <br />B. Single use products can be dispensed in a package that is child-resistant for one <br />use. As an alternative, single use product may be dispensed in a package that is <br />child-resistant across multiple uses. <br />C. Multiple use products must be dispensed in a container that is child-resistant <br />across multiple uses. Multiple use products shall not be dispensed in a package <br />that is child-resistant for one use. <br />D. Opaque package shall mean packaging that is constructed or coated in such a <br />manner as to ensure the contents inside are shielded from view. <br />Sec. 32.169 Regulations for Cannabis Deliveries <br />A. General Provisions <br />1. It shall be unlawful for any person other than a delivery driver for a delivery <br />center with a current and valid cannabis business permit to conduct a <br />delivery originating in Redwood City. <br />2. A retailer located outside the City may deliver to a customer located inside <br />the City so long as the retailer meets all of the requirements of Section <br />32.159(C) and this Subsection. <br />3. Prior to delivering cannabis or cannabis products, and at any time during <br />normal business hours, each delivery vehicle must pass an inspection and <br />be approved by the Chief of Police. <br />4. Orders for delivery shall be made to the retailer and cannot be made directly <br />to the driver of the delivery vehicle. <br />5. The cannabis and/or cannabis product transferred through delivery is <br />subject to all other applicable restrictions and requirements of state <br />cannabis laws and the Municipal Code, including being subject to all <br />applicable state and local taxes. <br />6. No cannabis or cannabis product shall be visible from outside of the delivery <br />vehicle. <br />7. Deliveries shall only be made to customers between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 <br />p.m. <br />8. No cannabis or cannabis products shall be delivered to a person who is <br />under 21 years of age unless medicinal cannabis is being delivered to a <br />person is at least 18 years of age and has a valid physician’s cannabis <br />recommendation. <br />6.4.A. - Page 30
