<br />ATTY/RESO.0035/CC RESO CERTIFYING FINAL EIR – 1548 MAPLE <br />REV: 04-30-18 PR <br />Page 24 of 49 <br />Summary of Findings Relating to the Alternatives <br />For all the foregoing reasons, the City Council has determined to approve the proposed project <br />instead of one of the alternatives. <br /> <br />Findings Regarding Adequacy of Range of Alternatives <br />The City Council finds that the range of alternative evaluated in the FEIR reflects a reasonable <br />attempt to identify and evaluate various types of alternatives that would potentially be capable <br />of reducing the proposed project’s environmental effects while accomplishing most, but not <br />all, of the project objectives. The City Council finds that the alternatives analysis is sufficient <br />to inform the City Council and the public regarding the tradeoffs between the degree to which <br />alternatives to the proposed project could reduce environmental impacts and the <br />corresponding degree to which the alternatives would hinder the City’s ability to achieve the <br />Project Objectives. <br /> <br />7.A. - Page 61
