LSA ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />APRIL 2018 <br />1548 MAPLE STREET PROJECT <br />MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM <br /> <br /> <br />ATTY/RESO.0035/CC RESO CERTIFYING FINAL EIR – 1548 MAPLE <br />REV: 04-30-18 PR <br />Page 31 of 49 <br />Table 1: Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program <br />Impact Mitigation Measures <br />Timeframe for <br />Implementation <br />Responsibility for <br />Implementation <br />Oversight of <br />Implementation <br />CUL-1 Continued The following tasks shall be undertaken during and after the <br />Water Tank's relocation: <br />• The relocation shall be implemented in accordance with <br />the approved Relocation Plan and all required City <br />noticing and permitting requirements. <br />• The Water Tank shall be reconstructed near the <br />shoreline, consistent with the original historic setting of <br />the structure. <br />• The Water Tank shall be properly placed and secured on <br />permanent footings or foundation. <br />• Reconstruction or repair of the Water Tank shall not <br />materially impair or visually obscure the historic <br />features of the structure. <br />• A qualified preservation architect and structural <br />engineer/contractor shall oversee reconstruction of the <br />Water Tank at its new location to ensure that the work is <br />done in accordance with the Relocation Plan. <br /> <br />CUL-2: Ground-disturbing <br />activities occurring with <br />development of both the <br />proposed project and the project <br />variant could have a substantial <br />adverse change on <br />archaeological deposits that <br />qualify as historical resources, <br />as defined in CEQA Guidelines <br />Section 15064.5, and could <br />materially impair historic- <br />period archaeological deposits. <br />CUL-2a: Prior to project ground disturbance, all <br />construction contractor(s) responsible for overseeing and <br />operating ground-disturbing mechanical equipment (e.g., <br />on-site construction managers and backhoe operators) shall <br />be alerted to the sensitivity of the project site for buried <br />archaeological deposits. A qualified archaeologist that <br />meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional <br />Qualifications Standards for Historic Archeology shall <br />conduct a “tailgate presentation” to alert relevant <br />construction personnel of the appropriate procedures that <br />should be undertaken if archaeological deposits are <br />encountered during construction. <br />Prior to any <br />ground disturbing <br />activities <br />Project Applicant Redwood City <br />Community <br />Development <br />Director 7.A. - Page 68
