<br />Exhibit II A" <br /> <br />June 19, 1990 <br /> <br />Karen McDonald <br />Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Peninsula, Inc. <br />944 Ralston Ave. <br />Belmont, California 94002 <br /> <br />Re: The "Redwood Shores Biathlon" <br /> <br />Dear Ms. McDonald, <br /> <br />This letter will serve as your permission to conduct the "Redwood Shores <br />Biathlon"in the City of Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the <br />terms and conditions herein. <br /> <br />The permission herein is granted to the "Redwood Shores Biathlon/Big <br />Brothers /Big Sisters of the Peninsula Inc." (hereinafter, for <br />convenience, called "Permittee"). This permit is subject to the following terms <br />and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event. The "Redwood Shores Biathlon" shall be sponsored <br />and conducted by Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation. This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. Nontransferability. This permit is nontransferable. <br /> <br />4. Location. The activities herein permitted shall be conducted <br />REFER TO ATTACHED MAP EXHIBIT A, <br /> <br />5. Dates and. Time. The "Redwood Shores Biathlon" shall be <br />conducted on August 19, 1990 with the set-up time of 7:30 AM. The event will <br />commence at 10:00 AM.. The event will end by 12:00 noon and the course will <br />be completely cleared by 1 :00 PM. <br /> <br />6. Course Control. Those portions of the "Redwood Shores Biathlon" <br />taking place in the public rights of way shall occur in a manner and shall be <br />limited to that area designated by the Chief of Police. Should the Chief of <br />Police determine that the provision of Police Officers is required for the control <br />of traffic in connection with said "Redwood Shores Biathlon", Permittee <br />agrees to reimburse City for costs associated therewith. <br /> <br />11327 <br />
